Layers and layers to unpeel
Cracked thoughts run through us

face
This feed crackles, not yet the same frequency
Shatters my illusions
Yet it brings me nearer to you
These soundscapes shift
I’m chomping on a love
That’s 2 days old
Stopping everything in its tracks
This is the year we make it right
Head feet first into the snow
Not to let you go
Let’s tread on every puddle of ice
To see if it breaks
